Our Approach

YOUR PERSONALISED PROJECT

Your personalised project or kitchen will commence with a home visit by Glen and Beth Donovan to discuss your requirements in detail.

Following your visit, you will be supplied with accurate plans, drawings, and costs.

To further explore your project requirements, we can supply you with a range of wood samples, finishes, handles, and granite or quartz.

We can also offer you advice on a range of appliances, sinks, and taps.

Once these specifications have been made, a detailed itemised costing and working schedule would then be produced.

Following this, work would then be scheduled in our workshop, and finally your project would be installed

EXACT REQUIREMENTS

Unlike other companies, whose designs are limited to a set catalogue of products, all of our work is designed and manufactured to the customers exact requirements.

This enables you to have your own individual kitchen or project, with no compromises.

SPECIALIST MANUFACTURERS

Our specialist manufacturing partners have been carefully selected and trusted by us for many years, allowing us to offer kitchens and joinery solutions that combine exceptional quality, reliability, and timeless design. By working with experienced manufacturers who share our commitment to high standards, we can ensure every project is produced using premium materials, precision craftsmanship, and the latest product ranges and finishes.

This approach gives our clients access to a wide choice of styles, colours, and contemporary design options, while maintaining the quality and attention to detail that Donovan Kitchens is known for. From traditional to modern designs, every kitchen is tailored to suit the individual home and lifestyle of each customer.

INSTALLATION

Using our sourced materials, we assemble your project or kitchen using skilled joinery and carpentry techniques in our workshop based in rural Somerset.

For all of our projects, we carry out your installation using our own staff, so you can be sure that we are on hand at every stage.

We are also happy to manage other aspects of your project, including wall and floor tiling, electrical work, and  plumbing.

SUSTAINABILITY

Donovan Kitchens recognises that we have a duty to acknowledge and contribute to the protection and conservation of the world’s timber supplies.

We source all our timber from sustainable sources where possible. Our primary source of certified timber is the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).

Additionally, we have recently installed a Biomass boiler, which runs both Donovan Kitchens and our twin business, Home Barn Bed and Breakfast. The boiler runs from the waste wood we produce, and is therefore a sustainable and low carbon alternative to fossil fuels.
